POLICE SEND TEAM TO INVESTIGATE EXPLOSION AT RITZ CARLTON

Jakarta, July 17 (ANTARA) - The police have sent an investigation team to the explosion site to investigate the incident at Ritz Carlton Hotel and JW Marriot Hotel in Kuningan area, Jakarta, a spokesman for the National Police (Polri) said here Friday.

Deputy Chief of Polri's Human Relations Division Brig Gen. Sutlistio SK said the incident killed some people but he could not yet confirm and identify the victims.

The Police Headquarters will soon give official information on the incident after receiving information from the site of the incident.
