MMC HOSPITAL RECEIVES 29 VICTIMS OF EXPLOSIONS
Jakarta, July 17 (ANTARA) - MMC Kuningan Hospital received 29 victims of explosions which rocked JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton Hotels at Kuningan area, Jakarta, early Friday.
The MMC Kuningan Hospital's management put a notice informing the names of the victims at one of the hospital's door.
The victims are Anarianto Makhnbu, Caturindu, Cho Ing Sang, Dadang Hidayat, Geovanni, Hut Bosco Keung, Ibushi Asu, Jame Makkeba, Junita, Jurika Kartika, Kevin, Linda, Marico, Melisa, William, Noke Kiroyan, Oki Utomo, Peter, Regi Aalstad, Rinaldi Domanik, Scott Mirilles, Shweta Shukita, Simon Louis, Sudargo, Yoga, Yurika, Yurike, Yusuf and Yusuf P.
The condition of the victims are not yet known.
Meanwhile, the Jakarta Hospital at Sudirman area received 10 victims, including two foreigners, of the same explosions in Jakarta.
The eight Indonesian victims are Sidik Maulana (21), a Ritz-Carlton employee, Ario (30), also a Ritz-Carlton employee, Andri (23), Deni Purwanto, Dik Dik Ahmad Taufik, Adri (23), Ririn (29), and Dewi Lestari (22). The two foreigners are David Peter and Edwar S, but their nationality is unknown yet.
The two foreigners were later moved to the Pertamina Hospital, while Dewi Lestari and Ririn, employees of Bank Panin, were allowed to leave the Jakarta Hospital.
Two Explosions in Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott Hotels in Mega Kuningan area, Jakarta, early Friday, killed at least six people and injured tens of others.
"Up to now, six people were killed, and tens of others were injured, but the number of the victims might change as identification process is still going on," Senior Commissioner Chysnanda, a spokesman of the Jakarta police, said here on Friday.
Policemen have already arrived at the scenes of the explosions. Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Widodo AS, Jakarta Governor Fauzi Bowo and Chief of the Indonesian Police General Bambang Hendarso Danuri, visited the scenes of the explosions.
The explosions in the two hotels at Kuningan area, were herd twice respectively at around 7.50 am and 7.55 am local time.
The Marriott Hotel was bombed by terrorists on August 5, 2003, killing 12 people, including a Dutch national, and injuring 147 others.
