Ali Mortezavi, also known as Ali Talesh, was born in Hendkhaleh village in Sowme'eh Sara County, Gilan. He has been engaged in fishing since childhood and moved to the city of Anzali for work and life. Ali experienced tragic events, losing his wife and two daughters, and part of his house was destroyed in a fire. After that, he never returned to live there, so that the memories of the past would not haunt him.

Now, Ali lives his life on a small boat near the Anzali pier, fishing and selling his catch. His boat is his only shelter at night. Despite all the hardships, he remains optimistic and hopeful about life, striving hard to live and persevere.

This photo collection tells the story of the effort, hope, and resilience of a man who, despite immense suffering, has not surrendered to fate and continues to live life in its simplest form.
