Preparations for Running Regional-industry Factories in DPRK

 Pyongyang, November 14 (KCNA) -- Preparations for running the regional-industry factories under construction in different parts of the country, including assembling and installing equipment, are being made in the DPRK.
While pushing ahead with the construction of the regional-industry factories, the non-permanent central committee for promoting Regional Development 20×10 Policy took measures to manufacture the equipment for the production lines, train skilled workers and secure raw materials in order to put the production of goods on a normal basis from the first stage of operating factories. 
Equipment-making units have stepped up the processing of parts and the production of equipment according to projects and processes.
Officials and scientists of the State Academy of Sciences, Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering and other units solved technical problems arising in designing and manufacturing while directing efforts to boosting the domestic production of equipment to be installed at the new factories.
The Tanchon Smeltery, the Pyongyang Automation Appliances Factory, the Taean Sinthae Joint Venture Company and other units manufactured hundreds of kinds of equipment.
Scientists at the High-Tech Development Center of 
Kim Il Sung University developed various kinds of quality-analysis machines with high measurement accuracy and analysis speed to ensure the quality of products.
The work for transporting, assembling and installing equipment and parts was conducted.
Provincial promotion committees, cities and counties took steps to assemble and install the equipment and parts soon after they arrived and conduct test production.
Scientific research institutes and light industrial factories in Pyongyang and other parts of the country conducted the theoretical study and passing-on technique for persons who are being trained as skilled workers of the regional-industry factories. As a result, many technicians and skilled workers across the country came to master their fields and production processes.
Cities and counties are concentrating on harvesting and safely storing grain, sugar and oil crops. Sinyang and Janggang counties and other mountainous areas are focusing on solving the problem of raw materials by gathering wild fruits.
The promotion committees at all levels and officials and working people of relevant units are concentrating on ensuring the inauguration of the regional-industry factories under construction. -0-
