Araqchi stresses strengthening cooperation between Iran and Niger

Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in a telephone conversation with his Niger counterpart, Bakary Yaou Sangar, has stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries at the bilateral level, as well as coordination in international forums.

Referring to Iran’s determination to strengthen relations with African countries, the Iranian Foreign Minister stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries at the bilateral level as well as coordination in international forums.

Araghchi also invited the Foreign Minister of Niger to visit Iran.

The Foreign Minister of Niger, for his part, while referring to the excellent and friendly relations between the two countries, welcomed the invitation and announced Niger’s readiness to expand bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest.
