Integrated School Newly Built in DPRK
Pyongyang, November 28 (KCNA) -- Jonjin Senior Middle School, newly built as an integrated school in Rangnang District, Pyongyang Municipality, was inaugurated.
The school with a total floor space of more than 19 300 square meters has classrooms, laboratory rooms, outdoor study sites and multi-functional halls for kindergarten, primary, junior and senior classes in line with the modern educational development trend and pedagogical requirements. It is also equipped with educational equipment, sports apparatuses and teaching aids.
An inauguration ceremony took place on the spot on Nov. 27.
Present there were Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials, builders and working people in the municipality and teaching staff of the school.
Choe Hui Thae, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee, made an inaugural address.
He said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un saw to it that an integrated school operating together with kindergarten, primary school, junior and senior middle schools was built as a model in Jonjin-dong of Rangnang District, personally guided the external layouts, arrangement plans and indoor layouts of the school several times and solved the problems arising in the construction.
At the end of the ceremony the participants went round various places of the school. -0-
