 Pyongyang, November 28 (KCNA) -- According to the data available at the State Commission of Science and Technology, the certificate of the introduction of national scientific and technological success was awarded to more than 100 research findings that helped solve the urgent problems arising in economic practice this year, Rodong Sinmun says.
Scientists of Kim Il Sung University developed and introduced the technology of increasing the efficiency of a gas producer process and the boiler combustion air control system based on artificial intelligence and made a non-contact water supply pipe leaking detector to contribute to modernizing production lines and improving urban management.
Scientists at Kim Chaek University of Technology developed a profitable drawing technology, a system of simulated operation of a thermal power plant and a motor for a drilling machine, thus contributing to increasing the production of concrete sleepers, improving the technical power of thermal power plants and modernizing prospecting equipment.
Scientists at the State Academy of Sciences, too, developed the technology of desalinization of Lake Kangryong to ensure the sustainable growth of the agricultural production, established an advanced intelligent integrated production system in the Kangdong Greenhouse Complex and developed silicone sealing adhesive agent and rust-proof paint badly needed by the construction sector.
The Academy of Agricultural Sciences developed the technology of cultivating flood-tolerant crops and the technology of growing nutritive cold-bed rice-seedlings. And scientists at some other scientific research institutes demonstrated the sci-tech might in laying the foundations for the development of light industry, public health, fishing industry, poultry farming, etc.
The Taean Heavy Machine Complex manufactured and introduced an electrical drive wireless transport truck, a way of producing bearing steel with pig iron and a new welding rod, all of which are of great significance in modernizing its production lines and improving the quality of products. The Musan Mining Complex established a line for producing parts of a rotary drill to provide a guarantee for increasing its own technical power and the production of concentrated iron ore. -0-
