Saudi-Japanese Cultural Diversity Shines at ‘Souq Al-Mawsim’ During Diriyah Season 25-26

   Diriyah, December 03, 2025, SPA -- The “Souq Al-Mawsim” (Season Market), one of the main programs of Diriyah Season 25-26, has continued to attract visitors since its launch on November 9 in the historic Al-Tawalie district, one of the key sites linked to Diriyah’s history and its commercial and cultural role over the ages.
   This year, the Souq Al-Mawsim celebrates 70 years of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan.
   It highlights cultural diversity through the presence of the Japanese culture of Kyoto, which blends heritage and innovation, where katana swords stand alongside Saudi bishts crafted from fine Japanese fabrics in ways that reflect the cultural depth of both countries.
   The Souq Al-Mawsim is part of Diriyah Season 25-26, organized by the Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA), aiming to establish Diriyah as a global cultural hub and an exceptional urban destination, contributing to Saudi Vision 2030 goals of developing the cultural and tourism sectors and enhancing their role in sustainable national development.
