Malaysia Still Looking For First Win In Baseball at 2025 SEA Games
BANGKOK, Dec 8 (Bernama) -- The national baseball team is still looking for its first win in the 2025 South East Asian (SEA) Games baseball event after their latest 21-0 loss to the Philippines at the Baseball Stadium Queen Sirikit Pathum Thani Sports Centre here on Monday.
Malaysia could not keep up with the Philippines’ aggressive play and crashed to their third consecutive defeat.
The national squad will play their fourth match tomorrow (Tuesday) against Laos, who narrowly lost 3-4 to Indonesia.
Only the group champions and best runners-up will advance to the final, while third and fourth-placed teams will compete for the bronze.
The SEA Games, which is held in two provinces, Bangkok and Chonburi, will officially begin on Dec 9 and end on Dec 20.
