Marble Palace is considered one of Tehran’s most beautiful and valuable landmarks, located in the heart of the city. The palace, known as the Museum of Iranian art, dates back to the early Pahlavi era.
With its distinctive architecture, the Marble Palace, on its own, tells the story of a significant part of Iran’s artistic heritage. A wide range of Iranian arts can be seen here in one place, from mirror work, khatam inlay, and stucco decoration to relief paintings depicting the Veresk Bridge and Persepolis. The palace displays Iranian artworks spanning from the fifth millennium BCE to the contemporary period.
