Saudi National Pavilion Concludes Participation at Artigiano in Fiera 2025

Milan, December 15, 2025, SPA -- The Saudi national pavilion concluded the Kingdom’s participation in the Artigiano in Fiera exhibition in Milan, Italy. This participation featured a wide presence from several national cultural and tourism entities within a unified national pavilion overseen by the Ministry of Culture. The pavilion introduced visitors to Saudi Arabia’s rich heritage, vibrant culture, and deep-rooted history while showcasing the Kingdom as an attractive cultural and tourism destination.
According to a press release issued by the ministry today, participating entities included the Heritage Commission, the Theater and Performing Arts Commission, the Culinary Arts Commission, the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (WRTH), the Royal Commission for AlUla, the Saudi Tourism Authority, and the Saudi Artisanal Company. The pavilion also featured more than 140 Saudi participants, including artisans, chefs, traditional performing arts groups, musicians, and Saudi coffee presenters.
As part of the world’s largest platforms dedicated to handicrafts, the pavilion highlighted the “Year of the Handicrafts 2025” initiative launched by the Ministry of Culture earlier this year. A dedicated section allowed visitors to explore Saudi handicrafts and learn about their cultural significance, with 25 artisans showcasing and selling traditional crafts such as bisht tailoring, agal weaving, rosary making, incense burner crafting, and Sadu weaving.
Additionally, 20 artisan students from WRTH displayed and sold their handcrafted works, including Al-Qatt Al-Asiri, traditional pottery, hand embroidery, and woodcraft. The Saudi Artisanal Company also showcased its finest handmade products.
The release added that the pavilion welcomed visitors from around the world with traditional Saudi hospitality led by a group of Saudi coffee presenters. Guests toured the pavilion’s various sections, exploring elements of Saudi culture, including traditional culinary products such as dates and their derivatives, Saudi coffee beans, and signature traditional dishes prepared by Saudi chefs who shared their own recipes. Visitors also enjoyed live cooking demonstrations, along with performances by two Saudi traditional performing arts ensembles.
The Kingdom’s participation in Artigiano in Fiera, one of the world’s leading platforms celebrating handicrafts, traditional arts, and culinary arts, builds on its previous participations, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s continued dedication to fostering cultural exchange and dialogue, while sharing the diversity of its heritage and creativity with international audiences. Through this presence, the Kingdom reaffirms culture’s role as a bridge for understanding and collaboration among nations.
