Peaceful development in Central Asia attracts global community's interest, says Kulubaev

Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2025. /Kabar/. International community interested in processes of peaceful growth and development in Central Asia, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev stated during President Sadyr Zhaparov's working visit to Turkmenistan. According to him, many countries are now showing interest in Central Asia.
"In general, after the resolution of border issues between states, Central Asia is considered a zone of peace. Therefore, all processes of peaceful growth and development in Central Asia are of great interest to the international community. As we see now, Cambodia and Thailand are at war. There are many conflicts, such as the one between India and Pakistan. Among them, the Central Asian states are those that resolve all issues peacefully. After peace comes, there should be economic growth. Regardless, Central Asia connects greater China and Europe. Firstly, this means the growth of transit routes and corridors between states; secondly, the creation of numerous logistics hubs connected to these corridors. "Furthermore, the idea of Central Asia becoming a bridge between the West and the East has often been raised at international forums," Kulubaev said.
Kyrgyzstan's contribution to strengthening peace and trust, developing good-neighborly relations, and maintaining stability in Central Asia is significant. The Central Asian countries intend to become a bridge between the West and the East, as well as a transport and logistics hub.
