Kyrgyz historical figures will be shown in Kara-Kyrgyz series

Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2025 /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, the new historical series "Kara-Kyrgyz" will be available to viewers on the national television channel and the Ethnomedia online cinema starting December 27.
According to the Ministry of Culture, the series depicts the difficult historical period of 1917-1924, telling the story of the Kyrgyz people after the Urkun war, the power vacuum, and the struggle for national statehood. The plot unfolds through the life of 16-year-old Zhusup Abdrakhmanov and covers the struggles of historical figures such as Abdykadyr Orozbekov, Ishenaly Arabayev, Imanaly Aidarbekov, and Abdykerim Sydykov.
The project was implemented by ARNA Productions with financial support from the state-owned KyrgyzSerial. The first season will feature four episodes.

It is noted that "Kara-Kyrgyz" is an important artistic series about the history, heroism, and fate of a people.
