Kyrgyzstan accelerates digitalization in healthcare and tax services

Bishkek, Dec. 16, 2025. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev presented the results of two new reforms under the "Government Accelerators" program at staff meeting.

The cycle of 12 reform initiatives aimed at addressing the country's pressing socioeconomic challenges was launched in 2025. The results of two more strategically important reforms were summarized.

The first reform focuses on ensuring genuine access to guaranteed healthcare services. To address the public's low awareness and the lack of a user-friendly tool, a digital service, "Right to Health," was created, accessible through the "Tunduk" mobile app. Now, more than 5.2 million citizens can receive personalized information about their healthcare rights and services in just one minute, without the need to review documents or undergo lengthy consultations.

The second reform aims to simplify the re-registration of individual entrepreneurs. All key procedures have been transferred to electronic format through the Taxpayer Account, reducing the time required to file applications from 2-3 hours to 5-10 minutes and completely eliminating in-person visits to tax authorities.

"These achievements demonstrate the government's systematic efforts to digitalize services, create transparent and comfortable conditions for citizens, and facilitate business development," emphasized Adylbek Kasymaliev.
