Manas epic was presented at international conference in India

Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2025 /Kabar/. International academic conference entitled "The World is One Family" was held in New Delhi, the Indian capital, on December 16, according to the Manas National Academy of Sciences.
The conference was attended by PhD Gulzat Maichinova, head of the Center for Communications and International Relations at the Manas National Academy of Sciences, and Dastan Chynybek Uulu, head of the Aikol Studio.
In her report, "The Mahabharata: A History of Civilization," Gulzat Maichinova noted the role of the two great epics in strengthening universal human values, peace, and unity.
In turn, Dastan Chynybek uulu delivered a paper on the topic "Epic Bridges: Preserving and Promoting the Cultural Values of the Epic of Manas and the Mahabharata in the Context of Globalization through Theater," emphasizing the importance of theatrical performances of epics for preserving cultural heritage.
The conference was also attended by scholars from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Kenya, Indonesia, and India. International participants expressed particular interest in the history and culture of Kyrgyz people, as well as Manas epic, asking the speakers a number of questions.
"During the event, many participants expressed interest in visiting Kyrgyzstan to become more familiar with Kyrgyz culture and Manas epic. The conference contributed to strengthening cultural dialogue and developing international scientific cooperation," the statement says.
