Memo on establishment of Kyrgyz-Japanese digital university signed in Tokyo

Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2025 /Kabar/. On the sidelines of the Central Asia+Japan Business Forum, held with the participation of heads of state, memorandum of trilateral cooperation was signed on December 20 to establish the Kyrgyz-Japan Digital University (K-JDU), High-Tech Park reports.
The initiative aims to develop cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan in information technology and education. The establishment of the university is intended to address the growing demand in the two countries' IT businesses for qualified personnel, including specialists with knowledge of the Japanese language and modern digital technologies.
The memorandum was signed by Digital Knowledge Co., Ltd. (Japan), the Kyrgyz-Japan Human Development Center (KRJC), and the High-Tech Park of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The parties expressed their intention to jointly develop educational programs aimed at training IT specialists in demand on the international market, as well as to strengthen academic and technological cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan.
