Anniversary of Demise of Chairman Kim Jong Il Observed Abroad

 Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- Organizations and personages of different countries made public statements on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of demise of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
The Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association in a statement said that every December 17 is a day of recollecting with deep emotion the noble personality of the peerless statesman who made a great contribution to the development of the DPRK and the accomplishment of the cause of independence against imperialism, adding that Comrade Kim Jong Il wisely led the country and the people in the period of the severe trials unprecedented in the history of the DPRK.
The general secretary of the Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy in a statement praised Comrade Kim Jong Il's whole life as the one of a peerless patriot who devoted his all to the country and people.
The coordinator of the Organization of Communists of Italy said in a statement that Comrade Kim Jong Il is the defender of justice and socialism and the prominent leader in the era of independence who performed great feats before the times and history with his distinguished political caliber. It would have been unthinkable without the independent politics of Comrade Kim Jong Il that the DPRK is winning only victories and glory while demonstrating its might as a powerful country independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence, he added.
The chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association in a statement said that thanks to the world historic feats of Comrade Kim Jong Il, the DPRK is now earning international reputation as a country with tremendous military capability for self-defence which is strong in politics and making economic development under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un. He extended full support and solidarity to the just cause of the DPRK people who are winning victories, rallied close around their leader. -0-
