HM King exchanges congratulations with National Guard Commander on National Guard anniversary

Manama, Jan. 6 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received a cable of congratulations from His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the establishment of the National Guard.

In the cable, HH Gen. Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa extended his congratulations and best wishes, on his own behalf and on behalf of all National Guard personnel, and expressed appreciation for His Majesty’s continued support. He noted that, under His Majesty’s leadership, the National Guard has become a key pillar of security and stability and a contributor to the Kingdom’s progress and development.

The National Guard Commander emphasised that, under His Majesty’s leadership, the National Guard will continue to carry out its national duties with high efficiency and full readiness, in line with His Majesty’s directives. He highlighted the National Guard’s role as a supporting military force to the Bahrain Defence Force and a key partner to the Bahrain Police in safeguarding national achievements, maintaining security, and ensuring the safety and well-being of citizens and residents.

His Majesty the King sent a cable of thanks to the Commander of the National Guard, congratulating HH Gen. Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa and all National Guard personnel on the occasion.

His Majesty the King commended the achievements and efforts of the National Guard in strengthening security and supporting the Kingdom’s development and prosperity, and its cooperation with the Bahrain Defence Force and Bahrain Police in safeguarding the Kingdom’s security and stability, wishing all National Guard personnel continued success in carrying out their national duties.
