Malaysia Ranks Third In Global Viewership For The Voice Of Hind Rajab - Teo

JOHOR BAHRU (Malaysia), Jan 31 (Bernama) -- The film The Voice of Hind Rajab, which has garnered more than 60,000 views in Malaysia, ranking the country third highest worldwide, reflects Malaysians’ concern over the humanitarian plight in Palestine.

Malaysia’s Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching said the response further demonstrated strong support for works that champion and amplify the voices of the marginalised groups, particularly children affected by the military conflict there.

“This film continues to achieve commendable milestones globally, with Malaysia emerging as the third-highest country in terms of worldwide viewership, behind France and Italy.

“Humanitarian solidarity knows no racial or religious boundaries,” she said in a statement.

Teo said the film highlights that behind every statistic and news report are real family lives and the futures of children that must be safeguarded.

In a gesture of support, the Kulai Member of Parliament hosted a special screening of the film today at GSC Cinema, IOI Mall Kulai, attended by 120 residents from her constituency.

According to her, the initiative was not merely a film screening, but also served as an educational and public awareness platform to cultivate empathy, global consciousness and humanitarian values across diverse segments of society.

She added that similar initiatives would continue to be implemented to strengthen the values of empathy, humanity and shared responsibility among the public.
