Sadyr Zhaparov: Kyrgyzstan ready to become a reliable partner for US business

Bishkek, Feb. 4, 2026. /Kabar/. Today, February 4, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov met with the United States Special Envoy for South and Central Asian Affairs, Ambassador Sergio Gor, and American business representatives at Yntymak Ordo.

The head of state emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is pursuing a multi-vector foreign policy. In this context, he noted the importance of cooperation with the United States.

"Kyrgyzstan is open to all businessmen and investors. We do not differentiate foreign investors by country of origin. We treat all businesses, including Kyrgyz ones, equally, and as a state, we are ready to provide comprehensive support for their activities," the president said.

He emphasized that the visiting representative American business delegation is the largest in the history of Kyrgyz-American relations.

In this regard, he highlighted the activities of the US-Kyrgyz Business Council.

"Kyrgyz side declares its readiness to be a reliable and stable partner for American businesses in the region," the president noted. He noted that in recent years, the Kyrgyz Republic's economy has demonstrated steady and consistent growth. Sadyr Zhaparov noted that major infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects of global significance aimed at ensuring long-term economic growth are currently being actively implemented.

Addressing representatives of American companies, the head of state noted that increasing investment potential is a priority area of ​​the Kyrgyz Republic's economic policy.

He emphasized that, along with developing industrial and construction potential, Kyrgyzstan is consistently improving its investment climate, expanding tax incentives, simplifying business registration procedures, and reducing government interference in business activities.

In turn, US Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, Ambassador Sergio Gor noted that the United States is increasingly focusing on this region, a level of engagement previously unseen.

He emphasized that the Trump Administration sees opportunities here that could lead to the development of mutually beneficial and sustainable relations between the countries.

"For many years, we haven't had the opportunity to work so closely with this region and your team, but today, such opportunities are opening up," Sergio Gor emphasized.

Representatives of several American organizations and companies, including the US-Kyrgyz Business Council, the US Chamber of Commerce, Boeing, Coca-Cola Company, Franklin Templeton, GE Healthcare, and Mooney Group, further proposed promising areas of cooperation.

Following the meeting, mutual interest was confirmed in further strengthening the Kyrgyz-American economic dialogue and developing practical cooperation between government agencies and business communities of the two countries.
