PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES LORD MAYOR OF CITY OF LONDON ALDERMAN IAN LUDER AND HIS ACCOMPANYING DELEGATION
Baku, July 20 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has Monday received Alderman Ian Luder, Lord Mayor of the City of London, and his accompanying delegation.
Alderman Ian Luder thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the great hospitality.
He briefed the President on the “fruitful meetings” he held here in various state structures.
For his part, President Ilham Aliyev remembered his recent visit to the United Kingdom and “effective meetings” he held there.
The Head of State said the Mayor`s current visit is of great significance for familiarizing himself with the ongoing development process in Azerbaijan and studying opportunities to expand the relationship between Azerbaijan and UK even more.
