Over 500 media outlets, including CNN and BBC, to cover World Nomad Games

Bishkek, Feb. 10, 2026 /Kabar/. Over 500 foreign media outlets have been invited to cover the 6th World Nomad Games, Nursultan Adenov, head of the World Nomad Games International Secretariat told.

He said that preparations are currently in full swing, with invitations sent to 100 countries and more than 500 media outlets.

"Invitation letters have been sent to 100 countries. Currently, 40 countries have submitted applications for participation. The registration process will take place from May 1 to July 1, after which the exact number of participating countries will be announced. As a reminder, representatives from 89 countries participated in the previous Games," he noted.

Nursultan Adenov also added that international audience reach is a priority.

"We expect over 500 foreign media outlets to attend. Invitations have been sent to major global media giants such as Euronews, Al Jazeera, BBC, and CNN. All arriving journalists will be officially accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic," Adenov explained.

The World Nomad Games will be held in Kyrgyzstan this year from August 31 to September 6. The event aims to promote the country's tourism potential, popularize national culture, and strengthen international cooperation.
