Bishkek, Feb. 10, 2026. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov participated in the board of the Ministry of Education dedicated to summarizing the results of its activities in 2025 and defining tasks for the coming period.
During the board, the results of the education system's activities in 2025 were reviewed. The population's confidence in the education system, including the steady improvement of key indicators, was noted.
Results were presented in the field of preschool and school education, the implementation of state educational standards, updating curricula and expanding access to quality education. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that the achieved results are the result of consistent and systematic reforms being implemented in the education sector.
He also noted the need to transition to a qualitatively new model of education aimed at comprehensive development, the formation of practical skills and increasing the competitiveness of graduates.
Edil Baisalov emphasized that in future work, special attention will be paid to improving the status and professional role of teachers, digitizing the educational process, modernizing the infrastructure of educational institutions, as well as strengthening the educational and social components of education.
"Our goal is to prepare a modern, competitive generation that can meet the requirements of the global labor market and ensure the sustainable development of the country," Edil Baisalov noted.
