LORD MAYOR OF CITY OF LONDON VISITS STATE COMMITTEE ON SECURITIES
Baku, July 21 (AzerTAc). Rufat Aslanly, Chairman of the State Committee on Securities has met here with Alderman Ian Luder, Lord Mayor of the City of London.
Aslanly briefed Ian Luder on the economic situation in the country, UK-Azerbaijan economic ties, development trends of equity market.
Luder said UK is keen on developing business contacts with Azerbaijan. He expressed hope that President Ilham Aliyev`s UK visit would give a fillip to development of bilateral cooperation.
Mayor stressed presentation on investment opportunities in Azerbaijan aroused a keen interest of UK business circles.
The meeting was also attended by heads of National Deposit Center and Baku Stock Exchange.
