LONDON LORD MAYOR GIVES PRESS CONFERENCE IN BAKU
Baku, July 21 (AzerTAc). Lord Mayor of the City of London Alderman Ian Luder has held a press conference on results of his Azerbaijan visit.
Alderman called his trip “another step towards strengthening relations between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom”.
He said he held a number of fruitful meetings with several ministers and President of Azerbaijan, during which, Alderman added, they mostly discussed prospects for developing economic cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the field of banking.
The London Lord Mayor called the UK a strategic partner for Azerbaijan, adding this partnership is not limited to energy, but covers other important fields.
