US CONGRESSMEN URGE CONGRESS TO REPEAL SECTION 907
Baku, July 24 (AzerTAc). US congressmen Solomon Ortiz, Bill Schuster and Eddy Bernice Johnson called on the US congress to repeal section 907 of the Freedom Support Act
Co-chair of the Congressional Azerbaijan caucus, congressman Solomon Ortiz of Texas said section 907 concerning Azerbaijan must be repealed since it is unfair and should not be applied to such US`s strong ally and partner as Azerbaijan.
According to Ortiz, Bill Schuster and Eddy Bernice Johnson have recently sent a letter to the House Committee on Appropriations, urging to repeal section 907.
