Baku, July 25 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani chess player Nijat Abbasov has defeated Indian Krishnan Sasikiran in the seventh round of an international festival in memory of prominent Argentinian grandmaster Miguel Najdorf in Warsaw, Poland, increasing his points to 2.5.
Abbasov will next face Finnish Tomi Nubak.
Polish Radoslav Wojtaszek leads the table with 5 points.
