Abu Dhabi, July 26, 2009 (WAM) - The UAE's second telecom operator du posted on Sunday a second-quarter net profit of Dh57.65 million ($15.7 million) in the second quarter, from a loss of Dh43.84 million in the corresponding period in 2008. Net income in the first six months of the year to June 30 rose to Dh81.02 million from a loss of Dh105.5 million in 2008, it said in a statement on the Dubai Financial Market website, "Reuters" reported. The firm posted a first-quarter profit of Dh47 million.
