BOMB ATTACKS NO EFFECT ON HOTEL ROOM OCCUPANCY IN INDONESIA

Padang, Jul 27 (ANTARA) - The room occupancy rates of several hotels in Indonesia and the number of foreign tourists visiting the country were practically not affected by the recent terrorist attacks at two five-star hotels in Jakarta.

"Generally, the room occupancy rates in most hotels in Indonesia and the number of foreign tourists coming to this country were not affected, except at certain hotels in Semarang and Jakarta, " Tourism Promotion and Marketing Director of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Fahtul Bahri said here Monday.
"In Jakarta the drop in room occupancy reached 54 percent," he said
