OFFICER OF AZERBAIJAN OMBUDMAN`S OFFICE PARTICIPATES IN BISHKEK INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS FORUM
Baku, July 28 (AzerTAc). Representative of the Azerbaijan Ombudman`s Office Aydin Safikhanly attended the third Issyk Kul international human rights forum held in Bishkek
Speaking at the event, Safikhanly told of the Azerbaijani ombudsperson`s priorities, application of national preventive mechanisms against tortures and the work the country has done to protect rights of migrants. .
The event co-hosted by the Presidential Administration and Government of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyz offices of UN and OSCE brought together ombudsmen from foreign countries, representatives of international organizations, human rights experts.
