AZERBAIJAN REVEALS SQUAD FOR WORLD YOUTH WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP
Baku, July 29 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s wrestling federation has announced the names of the wrestlers who will battle for medals in the world youth championship kicking off in Ankara next Tuesday.
In the Greco-Roman event, the national team will consist of Khurshud Babashov weighing in at 50 kg, Orkhan Ahmadov at 55 kg, Hasan Aliyev at 60 kg, Rustam Aliyev at 66 kg, Murtuz Taghiyev at 84 kg and Sabuhi Abbasov at 96 kg.
In the freestyle event, the national squad will include Nijat Muradov weighing in at 50 kg, Yashar Aliyev at 55 kg, Aghahuseyn Mustafayev at 60 kg, Jabrayil Hasanov at 66 kg, Parviz Mammadov at 74 kg, Aslanbek Alborov at 84 kg, Jamaladdin Mahammadov at 96 kg and Mikhail Gazzayev at 120 kg.
In the women`s competition Azerbaijan will be represented by Amina Abbasova who will compete in the 48 kg weight category.
