AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES OUTGOING KUWAITI AMBASSADOR

Baku, July 30 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has received outgoing Kuwaiti Ambassador Fahd Saad Said Al-Mei.
The President praised the relations between Azerbaijan and Kuwait. President Ilham Aliyev recalled his official visit to Kuwait City, describing it as “a vivid demonstration of the level of our bilateral relations”. He expressed confidence the agreements reached and issues discussed during the visit would contribute to developing the Azerbaijan-Kuwait relations. The President also praised the Kuwaiti ambassador`s activities during his tenure in Baku, saying he made his contribution to strengthening the two countries` relations.
The ambassador conveyed the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah`s greetings to the Azerbaijani leader.
Fahd Saad Said Al-Mei thanked the President for the conditions created for the Kuwaiti embassy during his diplomatic tenure.
The ambassador said while working in Baku he witnessed “high level of stability and peace”.
The President of Azerbaijan asked the ambassador to convey his greetings to the Emir of Kuwait.
