STATE BUDGET DEFICIT STANDS AT RP2.29 TRILLION
Jakarta, July 31 (ANTARA) - The realization of deficit up to July 23, 2009, stood at Rp2.29 trillion, from the expected deficit of Rp139.5 trillion during 2009, or 2.5 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
"The realization of deficit up to July 23, 2009 reached Rp2.292 trillion," Herry Purnomo, the finance ministry's director general of treasury, said here on Friday.
The realization of the state revenue and grants stood at Rp412.1 trillion or 48.56 percent from the target in the 2009 State Budget with fiscal stimulus, he said.
The realization of the state expenses was Rp414.46 trillion or 41.95 percent from the target in the 2009 State Budget with fiscal stimulus worth Rp988.1 trillion, he explained.
The state revenue realization included from the tax revenue worth Rp325.95 trillion or 49.2 percent. The domestic tax revenue stood at Rp315.57 trillion or 49.14 percent.
"The realizations of international trade tax revenue was Rp10.38 trillion or 53.15 percent, non-tax revenue (PNBP) Rp80.98 trillion (46.26 percent), while the grant revenue reached Rp2 billion," he said.
Meanwhile, the state expenses consisted of the central government expenses reached Rp270.4 trillion (39.5 percent).
"Employee expenses stood at Rp75.07 trillion (53.06 percent), good expenses Rp29 trillion (31.6 percent), and capital expenses Rp23.2 trillion (32.24 percent)," he said.
The realization of the credit interest payment stood at Rp56.8 trillion (51.36 percent), subsidies Rp28.68 trillion (42.8 percent). The subsidy expenses included electricity subsidy amounting to Rp20.4 trillion (48 percent), and fuel subsidy worth Rp8.27 trillion (33.7 percent).
The transfer to regions reached Rp144.05 trillion (47.53 percent), consisting of balancing funds Rp138.86 trillion (49.72 percent) and special autonomous region funds Rp51.29 trillion (21.8 percent).
The financing realization stood at Rp48.85 trillion or 30 percent, comprising domestic financing Rp69.1 trillion (63.2 percent), and foreign financing minus Rp20.32 trillion.
