AZERBAIJANI OARSMEN PROGRESS TO SEMIFINAL OF MOSCOW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Baku, July 31 (AzerTAc). Two more Azerbaijani athletes cruised to the semifinal at the Junior Kayak-Canoe Sprint World Championship in Moscow. Andrey Kraytor took the third spot in 500 meter canoe singles and Rufat Velizade ranked seventh in the 500m kayak singles.
Azerbaijani duo Rufat Velizade and Mirnazim Javadov earlier qualified for the semifinal in the 1000m kayak doubles.
