PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV INAUGURATES MATERNITY CENTER IN NAKHCHIVAN
Nakhchivan, August 3 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated a Maternity Center here.
The President cut the ribbon symbolizing official opening of the center. He got acquainted with the center`s facilities.
The foundation stone of center was laid by President Ilham Aliyev in June 2008. The center has been built to the highest of modern standards.
The area of the construction site is 1.26 hectares.
The six-storey medical center has 100 beds. It employs 270 workers.
Azerbaijani leader toured the waiting room, pathology of pregnancy, intensive care, physiological delivery units and other facilities.
The Head of State was told about reconstruction of buildings around the center.
President Ilham Aliyev congratulated medical workers on the inauguration of the center and wished them every success.
Azerbaijani Leader was also briefed about the center`s ambulances.
