YOUNG AZERI PIANIST BECOMES LAUREATE OF INTERNATIONAL CONTEST
Baku, 4 August (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Kamil Hasanov has won the third place at the Sulkhi Al-Vadi Second International Competition for Young Pianists, which run from July 22 to 28 in Damascus, Syria.
Hasanov, a student at the Hajiyev Baku musical school, was invited to the Azerbaijan Embassy in Syria, where he was presented a keepsake.
The competition brought together over 60 young pianists from the United States, United Arab Emirates, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Canada, Syria, Tunis and Armenia.
This May Hasanov won bronze at the Fourth International Competition of Young Pianists in Tbilisi, Georgia.
