RESIDENTS AND MILY RESCUE TEAM START MOVING TO PLANE CRASH LOCATION
Jayapura, Aug 5 (ANTARA) -- Members of the community and the military went to the location where the Merpati Nusantara Twin Otter plane wentdown after contact with it was lost in its Sentani-Oksibil flight.
Bintang mountain range police chief Ajunct Senior Commissioner Mikhael said Tuesday right now members of the rescue team were already moving to the crash location.
The ill-fated aircraft was piloted by Qadrianova, and co pilot Pramudya, with the assistance of engineer Supriadi, and had 12 passengers on board, including two very young children.
In the meantime, an eight member SAR team also flew by Kamov chopper to the location where the plane was found.
The Twin Otter was spotted by Erick andn Mark of AMA at 6.25 a.m local time. The two missionary pilots were members of the Sentani SAR team.
