PRESIDENT OPENS ACEH CULTURAL WEEK
Banda Aceh, Aug 8 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono officially opened the Fifth Aceh Cultural Week at H Dimurthala Lapineung stadium here on Wednesday evening.
Besides opening the Aceh cultural week which lasted from August 2 to August 11, 2009, the president also opened the Aceh International Expo which was held at Taman Sri Ratu Saiatuddin.
In his address, Aceh Governor Irwandi Yusuf said the cultural week was an effort to introduce Aceh's culture.
