Yemeni Expatiates Minister highlights the outcome of his recent

Sanaa, August 06, SPA -- Yemeni Expatiates Affairs Ahmed Musaed
Hussein today highlighted the outcome of his recent Gulf tour of the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar and
Kuwait, saying that it has further enhanced bilateral cooperation
relations between Yemen on one hand and the GCC countries on the
other.

On a Yemeni official website, the minister said Yemeni expatriates
in the GCC states enjoy utmost care by the leaders and officials of
those countries, noting that his tour aimed at inspecting the
situations of Yemeni workers in the GCC countries, particularly the
measures done to allow more Yemenis to travel to GCC countries for
work.
He said labor senior officials confirmed to him that Yemenis were
not barred from work in the GCC countries.
To solve the problems of Yemeni laborers abroad, the Ministry of
Expatriates Affairs ought to create a database and complete
information to enable it play its role in better taking care of them,
he said.
