Arab newspapers laud the message the monarch has sent to

Riyadh, August 06, SPA -- A number of Arab and Middle-eastern
mass-circulation newspapers today continued to highlight the contents
of the message the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah
bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has recently sent to President Mahmoud Abbas of
the Palestinian National Authority as he was addressing the 6th
conference of Fatah Movement in Bethlehem.

Lebanese, Yemeni, Iranian, Egyptian, Tunisian and Mauritanian
newspapers cast light on the sentiments voiced by the King addressed
to all Palestinian factions in the name of all Arabs, Muslims and
peace-loving people of the entire world.
The conservative Iranian daily of Jamhouri Islami, Cairo-based,
Al-Jamhoria, Al-Akhbar, Al-Masri, Tunis-based Al-Akhbar weekly,
Al-Sareeh and Al-Arab, in addition to almost all newspapers of
Lebanon, Yemen and Mauritania highlighted the call of the Custodian
of the Two Holy Mosques for Palestinian unity.
The papers focused on the King's historical saying that Palestinian
inter-difference is more detrimental to the Palestinian cause than
the Israeli enemy. The newspapers also underscored the King's words
that if all the world's capabilities were mobilized to establish an
independent Palestinian state, nothing would happen as long as the
Palestinians remain divided.
Editorialists and columnists of those newspaper said the King
availed himself of the opportunity of Fatah conference to call on all
Palestinian rivals to ignore minor differences and come to one word
to face their one enemy and address their shared future.
