RI JET FIGHTERS CONTINUE TO MONITOR AMBALAT

Lombok Timor, W Nusa Tenggara, Aug 7 (ANTARA) - Air Force (TNI AU) chief Marshal Soebandrio said that Air Force's Sukhoi jet-fighters are still flown to monitor the developments in the Amabalat Block.

"We maintain a routine patrol over the area and the Sukhoi jets continued to be standing by at the Makassar airbase," the Air Force chief said here on Thursday.

He was here to attend the 62nd Service Day anniversary of the TNI AU in Labuhan Haji subdistrict, Lombok Timor district, West Nusa Tenggara.
