Assir Governor opens GCC Literary Forum

Abha, Saudi Arabia, August 10, SPA -- Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin
Abdulaziz, Governor of Assir Region, this evening opened the GCC 5th
Literary Forum, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information
under the theme "Changes in the Gulf Society Reflected in Literary
Works".
A speech ceremony was held to mark the opening of the occasion.
Anwar bin Mohammed Khalil, Chairman of Abha Literary Club which hosts
the event, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Sabeel, Undersecretary of
the Ministry of Culture and Information for Cultural Affairs, the
Assistant Secretary General of the GCC Secretariat General and Saeed
Al-Amery, leader of the UAE delegation, each addressed the gathering.
They thanked the Ministry of Culture and Information for holding the
event and called for the continuation of such cultural activities
here, in the other GCC member countries and abroad.
