Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques sends a message to Sudanese President

Khartoum, August 12, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a message to President
Omer Hasan Ahmed Al-Baseir of The Sudan, inviting him to attend the
official opening ceremony of King Abdullah University for Science and
Technology scheduled for 23 September 2009.

The message was delivered by the Saudi ambassador to Sudan Mohammed
bin Abbas Al-Kilabi during a meeting with the president today.
The ambassador also conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the
Two Holy Mosques to the Sudanese president.
For his part, Al-Basheer lauded the efforts being exerted by the
Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in all fields,
particularly its humanitarian and civilizational role.
