227 CIVIL SERVICE EMPLOYEES RECEIVE PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF DEDICATION

Kupang, Aug 14 (ANTARA) - A total of 227 civil service employees in East Nusa Tenggara on Friday received a Satya Lencana Karya Satya (dedication medal) from President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

The medals were pinned on the recipients by East Nusa Tenggara Governor Frans Lebu Raya in Kupang.

Twenty five of the recipients had been serving the country for at least 30 years, who receive an incentive of Rp750,000 each, 123 had served for at least 20 years receiving an incentive of Rp500,000, 79 with a service of 10 years received an incentive of Rp250,000.

The governor also gave a similar incentive to 141 employees who entered retirement as of January 1 to August 31, 2009.
