BALI SENDS ART TEAM TO THAILAND

Denpasar, Bali Province, Aug. 15 (ANTARA) - Bali has sent a 25-member art team to Thailand for a one-week visit, until August 23, 2009.

The art team consisting of lecturers, students and officials of the Denpasar-based Indonesian Art Institute (ISI) would hold art performances to celebrate Indonesia's Independence Anniversary and sign a cooperation agreement with the University of Thailand, ISI Rector Prof. dr I Wayan Rai, said here on Saturday.

The visit was also aimed at reciprocate three visits by lecturers and officials of the University of Thailand to the Denpasar-based ISI, he said.
