Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques chairs Cabinet Meeting 2
On Lebanon, the cabinet stressed confidence that Lebanese will
overcome all hurdles to form their national unity government which
will achieve Lebanon's security, stability and prosperity with the
help of solidarity by the Lebanese people.
Dr. Abdulaziz Khojah said the cabinet lauded the efforts of the
security authorities in Kuwait for arresting a terrorist network
threatening the security and stability of Kuwait and its people.
The cabinet extended condolences to Sheikh Sabah Alahmad Aljabir
Alsabah, the Emir of Kuwait, the Kuwaiti people and the families of
the victims of the fire accident in Aljahra province.
Domestically, the minister said that after listening to a briefing on
the plan of the season of the blessed month of Ramadan 1430 H. for
the service of worshippers and visitors of the two holy mosques in
Makkah and Madinah, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques directed
all ministers and officials responsible for these services to exert
utmost efforts for the comfort of visitors to enable them perform
their rituals safely. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques urged the
minister of health and those concerned with the health of the
worshippers to strictly abide by the king's directives that all
government and private hospitals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
should treat the cases of swine influenza /A.H1.N1/ in accordance
with to the categorization of the ministry of health and the
internationally known rules. Treatment should cover everyone:
citizens, expatriates and performers of Umrah and provide the
necessary medical care for them at the expense of the state.
The Minister of Culture and Information added that the cabinet,
having fully reviewed a number of local issues and its agenda, took
the following decisions:
First: the cabinet approved the following:
1- the organizational level of the two municipalities of the
provinces of Taif and Ahsa is raised to a municipality and directly
linked to the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs.
