Collaboration between ADMC and NMC discussed
Abu Dhabi, Aug 18, 2009 (WAM) - Edward Borgerding, CEO of Abu Dhabi Media Company (ADMC), visited Sunday the National Media Council, and met with Ibrahim Al Abed the Director General of National Media Council (NMC). The ways of collaboration, existing and future media projects in the country were discussed.
Borgerding, welcomed the productive cooperation with National Media Council and expressed his interest in meeting regularly with NMC officials to better serve the mutual goals and objects, for a prosperous media sector in UAE. He also praised the TV Audience Measurement (TAM) project undertaken by NMC and TRA and said that his company supports the efforts of NMC and TRA and joins them in this public interest initiative, since it's a vital step that paves the way for developing the media industry in the UAE, in terms of programming and advertising.
He also talked about ADMC projects and its strategy that revolves around expanding its brand digitally and globally. He also talked about constructing a world-class specialized studio for MMOG. This studio is the first of its kind in the region, which will be based in Abu Dhabi, and is in collaboration with Gazillion Entertainment.
It will be part of the first Joint Venture in the video gaming sector in the region. The CEO of ADMC stressed the fact that Media Company continues to exert efforts to achieve the maximum potential out of its extensive brand portfolio globally, going beyond traditional media.
He pointed out that ADMC will launch its new TV channel-Abu Dhabi HD- this October, allowing its viewers in the UAE to enhance their viewing experience immensely.
