UAE Citizens Can Leave Kingdom by Documents: Passports Official

Jeddah, August 25, SPA -- The Information Spokesman of the General
Directorate of Passports has denied news reports by some media organs
that citizens of the United Arab Emirates are not allowed to leave
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia without their passports.

The Spokesman stressed that the statement issued through the Saudi
Press Agency (SPA) has been clear that any citizen of the United Arab
Emirates who wishes to return to his home-country, his travel will be
facilitated and that he will be allowed to leave by his document,
with which he had previously entered the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Spokesman called on the media to be accurate in reporting news
and seeking information from their sources.
