Moscow region businessman wounds partner, then kills self

MOSCOW, August 25 (Itar-Tass) - A businessman in the Moscow region
shot at his partner during negotiations and then turned the gun on
himself, a law-enforcement official told Itar-Tass on Monday.
"The shooting occurred at around 15:30, Moscow time, near the office
of a construction firm in Oktyabrskaya Street, Kolomna. Preliminary
reports said it was the venue of a meeting between two entrepreneurs. They
had a row during negotiations, and one of them whipped up a pistol and
fired a shot at his colleague. The bullet hit the victim's chest, causing
a serious injury.
"Then the attacker killed himself," the regional law-enforcement
official said.
The injured man was rushed to hospital.
Investigators came to the scene to establish the identity of the
fatality and the motives behind the shooting incident.
