ULAN-BATOR, August 25 (Itar-Tass) - Russia and Mongolia should settle
the remainder of a big debt in the short possible timeframe, President
Dmitry Medvedev told a news conference on Tuesday after the
Russian-Mongolian talks.
"We've instructed our governments to deal with the debt and brief the
presidents to take a decision," he said.
Medvedev recalled that in 2003 "ninety-eight percent of the debt
burden was settled." "However, some issues remain unresolved and it is
extremely important to finalize these not big documents that hamper our
cooperation in order to build strategic partnership between our
countries," he said.
